![]() You have one button for attacking but there are a few different attacks with the sword. You have a button to move, block, attack, dash, use ninja stars, and use scrolls. The controls are really easy to get down. I think fans of the last one will like it a lot, and I also think that it will have more general appeal for all the pussies that didn't like shinobi. Shinobi is sort of like a beatem up with swords and it does require a little strategy but not that much. I haven't spent too much time with it, probably don't even know half of the new stuff, but it's pretty impressive. ![]() I hear Saturn Shinobi plays extremely well but the cheesy FMVs and digitized graphics are impossible to bear. Anyone play Shinobi PS2 Mega balls-off-the wall hard. Shame they didnt have more games like Revenge and Shinobi 3. The flashiness of the first level has the same kind of feel that shinobi III had when I first played it. Shinobi couldve been the Castlevania of Sega. I think they went back and played the old shinobi games before they made this, because it has a more authentic feel than the last one. I can't really describe them any better than saying they are a lot more "interesting" then the ones from shinobi. The environments look really clean, seem bigger, and are a good improvement over the last one. ![]() Level design is better in the sense they seem more concious of levels being repetitive and mundane. Kunoichi's (is that her name?) character model is really detailed, and I hope they put a new an improved hotsuma to unlock (or joe mushashi). The graphics are much cleaner, detailed, and colorful. Basically I'm looking for a third person game where you play as a badass ninja and run through levels dispatching enemies in over the top flashy/gory ways. I also think they improved the camera quite a bit as well, and it seems to find a good angle most of the time. The control is faster and more responsive, which makes the action quicker and more fluid. It’s still well worth purchasing if you like action. Test your ninja skills through five missions of increasing difficulty, and make your way to Zeeds headquarters to free all the hostages. They basically improved everything I can think of. Shinobi is one of those potentially great games with obvious, easily-correctible flaws. Shinobi PS2 Kizami advice/cheese (6-A boss). Instead of watering it down, they put in a "beginner" setting for those who find easy too hard. The cinemas are japanese of course, but it's not too hard to figure out whats going on.įor people worried about the difficulty, I don't think they watered the game down (although I've only played 4 levels). This originally started with them goofing around with the parameters, and they set it to 200.
